Fishery Rules

Tickets
Tickets are available at bankside from the Bailiff.
Each person must have a valid ticket to fish with two or three rods.
A day ticket is valid for between 7am and 7pm on the day of purchase.
A night ticket is valid for between 7pm and 7am. Night fishing is strictly by prior appointment and is available only to night fishing members.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Concessions are available for group or extended bookings and for children under 16 and senior citizens.

Fishing
No fish are to be removed or introduced.
All types of barbed hook are strictly prohibited.
All anglers must be in possession and use an appropriately sized unhooking mat or cradle.
Each angler must be in possession of appropriate Environment Agency licenses.
Minimum 42” landing nets and minimum 10lb line to be used on Top Lake.
No lead-core or fixed leads.
No braided mainline or leaders.
No carp sacks or keep nets.
No spodding or spombs (PVA & method feeders are allowed).
No beach-casting.
Left over bait must not be thrown into the lake or left on bank.
Rods must not be left unattended.

General Behaviour
No dogs, fires, BBQ’s or firearms.
All litter to be removed from fishery or placed in bins provided.
Please respect other anglers and visitors especially with the use of radio’s & bite alarms.
Bad language or aggressive behavior towards other visitors or staff will not be tolerated.
Vehicles should remain parked in the areas provided. No driving on the banks or verges.
Please use the toilets provided.

Fishery management reserve the right to remove anyone at any time without refund who they feel has breached any of the fishery rules or has acted without due consideration for other visitors. All vehicles that are brought on site are done so at the owners own risk. Birds Green Fishing Lakes can accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury which may occur while on the premises.
